Aubrie Sellers Casts A “Spell” With Classic Cover

File this one under the “Goodness, I’m old” tab:  Lee Ann Womack’s eldest daughter Aubrie Sellers is all grown up and ready to make her mark in the music world.

It’s hard to believe it’s been fourteen years since her appearance in Womack’s “I Hope You Dance” video, but Sellers is proving that she’s every bit as talented as her mother and father (country artist Jason Sellers).   Her vocals have already been  featured on David Nail’s I’m A Fire and Miranda Lambert’s Platinum albums, with Esquire’s Andy Langer noting “[she] establishes herself right here and now as one to watch” on “Brand New Day,” her duet with Nail.

If Sellers’ fiery, sultry cover of the Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ classic “I Put A Spell On You” is any indication, we should all look forward to hearing more from her in the future; she’s currently recording an album of her own.

Added bonus: Sellers’ cover also features the multitalented singer-songwriter Adam Wright on guitar.

  1. Can’t believe she is all grown up. She definitely sounds like her mama.

    1. Agreed – time flies. It should be really interesting to watch her grow as an artist.
